Artistic Perspectives

(Prof. Dr. Rosa Barba and Monica Narula)

Artistic methods are points of departure. More than attitudes or approaches to how a work comes into existence, they are processes that change how one sees the world, and that clarify how a creative practice wants to act within it.

Opening every Art Day, this lecture series turns to what each artist brings to the question of artistic process. Rosa Barba and Monica Narula speak from their own practices and from the work of others — across film, installation, image, text and collective form — attending to how artists find ways of living and working with a world that resists easy description.
